Dear Colleagues,

You are cordially invited to the 2nd Orthognathic Conference which will take place November  5th-6th, 2016 in Sopot, Poland.

At the core of the second edition of the Conference stands the idea of interdisciplinary work of experts in many fields of medicine. This idea derives from the growing need to provide patients with complex support in the craniofacial treatment process.

The mechanisms encouraging effective teamwork in described area are essential part of patient’s satisfaction in the treatment process. It is extremaly important in the context of growing interest in craniofacial treatment not only as a medical procedure but also as a way of improving one’s apperance.

Nowadays, the complete treatment process, from its core medical purpose to aesthetics, requires the intensification of teamwork between experts in orthodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial surgery (OMS), speech therapy, physiotherapy and psychology. It remains a challenging task for both doctors and patients.

By organizing this Conference we would like to familiarize the idea of interdisciplinarity in the treatment process and to encourage  fresh approach to patients’ needs.

During the Conference Polish orthodontics teams will present their work models as well as their own and original procedures used in treatment planning. We also anticipate the presentation on the finest solutions of the Belgian orthognathic school.

Moreover, we are certain that presentations delivered by our remaining respected guests will definitely encompass wide spectrum of craniofacial treatment processes.

Additionally, through incredibly interesting pre-seminar workshop and lecture by an expert, we would like to emphasize the importance of applying cutting-edge IT solutions in medicine.
